The cocoa for this exceptional chocolate is grown in the fertile soil of the Tully River Valley which was once part of the ‘King Ranch’ property. This is about as far south as cocoa will grow in Australia.
We process the pods at Mission Beach. They are opened, the beans fermented and then sun dried. They are then carefully roasted and conched for over 50 hours at Mission Beach to produce a rich decadent and very fruity ‘tree to bar’ dark chocolate.
Our dark chocolate is gluten free and suitable for Vegans. We do NOT use palm oil, palm oil derivatives, flavours, stabilisers or flavour enhancers. The only ingredients are: Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar and a tiny amount of soy lecithin.
