In Australia, cocoa only grows in a narrow coastal strip of Tropical North Queensland. This is the home of Charley’s!
International award-winning cocoa beans from the Mt Edna Plantation at Mission Beach in Far North Queensland are handcrafted “tree to bar” to make a complex and rich 60% cocoa Milk Chocolate. This teams beautifully with the gentle acidity and natural sweetness of Queensland Pineapple pieces to create a tropical taste sensation.
We craft this chocolate “Tree to bar” from Single Origin beans grown on our very own plantation. Single Origin means that the cocoa beans come only from a specified region and are not blended with others, similar to fine wine. We carefully balance the complex flavour of these highly awarded cocoa beans with the addition of the finest Australian full cream milk, has produced an extraordinary milk chocolate unlike any other.
In mass produced chocolate these differences in flavour and aroma are “blended out”. In our “Origin” chocolate we celebrate these differences as we bring you a unique product.
Ingredients: Milk Chocolate (95%). Made from Cocoa beans (Australia) , Sugar (Australia), Full Cream Milk Powder (Australia) Cocoa butter (Venezuela or Peru), Soy Lecithin (Germany). Dried Pineapple (5%) (Australia)
Milk Chocolate contains 60% cocoa solids and 20% milk solids.
Allergy Advice: Contains Milk, Soy, may contain traces of Tree Nuts (Macadamias)
Storage: Best refrigerated, then allow to warm slightly before enjoying.
