The cocoa beans used to make this chocolate are grown on volcanic Karkar Island just off the coast of Madang Province in the north of Papua New Guinea.
The chocolate is hand crafted from ‘bean to bar’ in Mission Beach Queensland. It is the rich volcanic soil of Karkar Island that gives this chocolate an amazing richness with bold earthy flavours and some fruity overtones. This chocolate is a great introduction to the ‘bean to bar’ experience.
Our dark chocolate is gluten free and suitable for Vegans. We do NOT use palm oil, palm oil derivatives, flavours, stabilisers or flavour enhancers. The only ingredients are: Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar and a tiny amount of soy lecithin.
