When we wanted to make a coconut chocolate bar were disappointed to learn that virtually all the coconut available is imported, especially as we have heaps of coconuts all over Northern Australia's shoreline.
We managed to locate a company that harvests organic coconuts from the beaches in Far North Queensland. The subtle sweetness of coconut combines amazingly well with the fruitiness of the award winning Australian grown King Ranch 70% dark chocolate made from beans grown in the Tully River Valley of Tropical North Queensland. A truly tropical taste sensation.
Our dark chocolate is gluten free and suitable for Vegans. We do NOT use palm oil, palm oil derivatives, flavours, stabilisers or flavour enhancers. The only ingredients are: Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar and a tiny amount of soy lecithin.
