Multiple national and international award winning, this is among the finest chocolate in the world. And it's all grown in Tropical North Queensland and made on-site in Mission Beach.
Shannonvale Port Douglas, Bean to Bar Chocolate: The Cocoa is grown in the low foothills to the northwest of Port Douglas. The beans are then hand crafted in Mission Beach Queensland into a superb creamy chocolate with rich flavour and nutty highlights.
Beach Coconut: Coconuts are synonymous with tropical beaches. You can just feel that sand between your toes! Being an Australian Company we were however disappointed to learn that virtually all of the coconut available here is imported. Especially as we have heaps of coconuts all over Northern Australia's shoreline. The coconut we are using is NOT. It is organically grown and harvested from beaches in Far North Queensland. For a truly tropical taste you can’t get any better than this.
The crunchy coconut combines well with the fruitiness of our award winning Australian grown King Ranch Single Origin Chocolate made from beans grown in the Tully River Valley of Tropical North Queensland. This chocolate has fantastic fruit flavour which complements the subtle sweetness of the coconut.
Davidson's Plum: We're proud of being an Australian Company so when we had the chance to make a chocolate using the amazing native Davidson's Plum, we jumped at it. Davidson’s Plum grows naturally in the rain forests of the Wet Tropics in northern Australia. Davidson’s Plum is a real bush food (also known as the Australian Rainforest Plum). It’s full of anti oxidants and has an amazing clean tart flavour.
It combines superbly well with the fruitiness of our award winning Australian grown King Ranch Single Origin Chocolate made from beans grown in the Tully River Valley of Tropical North Queensland. This chocolate bursts with fruit and complements the clean tartness of the plum. Good dark chocolate has many health giving properties and as Davidson’s Plum has three times the antioxidants of blueberries this makes this chocolate bar a health food!!! (we're not kidding)
