Not surprisingly, to make the very best Dark Chocolate, you have to start with the highest quality cocoa beans and then use the best, most natural process possible. Charley's Premium Chocolate is 70% cocoa and is handcrafted from Bean to Bar on site in Mission Beach, Tropical North Queensland.
We use only traditional granite stone conches in a slow labour intensive batch process. The end result is well worth it, it's awesome chocolate.
The judges at the 2016 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards agreed, awarding us one Gold and two Silver medals as well as the overall trophy for the best chocolate bar in Australia. (The RMFFA's are Australia's premier Fine Food awards which makes our wins especially meaningful.)
All our Chocolate is gluten free and suitable for Vegans. We do NOT use palm oil, palm oil derivatives, flavours, stabilisers or flavour enhancers. The only ingredients are: Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar and a tiny amount of soy lecithin.
